Digestible phosphorus

• EvaPig® includes digestible phosphorus values for pelleted and mashed feeds.
• The calculation of digestible phosphorus in diets takes into account:
  • The presence of endogenous phytase
  • The addition of exogenous phytase
  • The physical form of the diet (pellet or mash)
• The amount of digestible phosphorus depends on the amount of phytase and on its biological activity (expressed as g of released digestible P per 500 IU of phytase)
